Poke was the best I have ever had. Some may say that other islands have better food but this poke is definitely top tier. Spicy Mayo and Shoyu poke with some rice and seaweed salad. Of course top it off with sesame furikake, you can’t go wrong. Great price point too. The fish is nice and buttery. Lady was really nice too! I would totally get my cuts of fish here to make my own poke but it wouldn’t be up to par with the concoction they spinned up.
5 well deserved stars. I came in right before close and was met with happy, friendly, and helpful employees. The menu was simple and clear, which is appreciated. 12 for single, 17 for double, or 22 for triple. All options for Poke and sides are on display. Kapua was the one who helped me. She noticed I was having a hard time choosing, and offered samples. I might have got lucky, but she let me split my order. So, I got the double, but got to split two sides, and four smaller portions of Poke. I got the house spicy mayo, Hawaiian ahi, Kalbi ahi and the aku Hawaiian. I got the Ula mash and the mac-n-cheese for sides. Everything was great. The double was big enough for two, but on a good day, I could eat it all myself. Now for the embarrassing part. As soon as I got to the car, it was devoured by everyone. This was supposed to be a pre-dinner snack, but after a long day at the beach........no photos were taken in its pristine glory. We come out to visit family every few months, and my goal is to try new places each time. I'm going to have to make another stop at Ellie Girl Poke this trip. I took a photo of the plate after it had been partially ravaged, but it doesn't do the shop justice, so I'll have to go back and get a photo of a new plate. Edit: I DID go back the next day, and it was even better the second time. They had a couple more flavors out that weren't out the first time.
Great poke spot! Fish is fresh, very saucy and well marinated. Tried both classic & creative flavor options and they were rich and super good with the rice. Portions are generous. Staff were also very kind and welcoming.
Very tasty, I don't know what to say to describe how tasty everything is, most likely because the fish is so fresh!!! In addition, the portions are very large, it's hard to eat everything. I highly recommend it!
Their owners were sooo nice! They allowed my friends parents to try some of their fish prior to buying because they could see how indecisive we were. Rice was delicious and the fish was perfectly fresh.
Good poke! There were many options of poke and sides available - you can even ask for taster samples. Highly recommend the Shoyu Ahi with Broccoli lobster salad. The staff were extremely friendly too and even offered to split my 1 side into 2 halves of different sides. Mahalo!
Absolutely incredible poke - fresh fish and a mix of traditional eclectic recipes. The spicy is the best in my humble opinion. Staff was extremely friendly. Family owned and ran business so when you eat here you support small businesses.
I ordered House spicy mayo and kimchi cucumber. It was amazing!! If you will have to go to the airport, I recommend you to get some POKE at this store. Staff was very friendly. Poke was very fresh and tasty.
